How we work
- We measure before we open anything. Moisture meters and a thermal camera show where the water went, so we open only what's wet.
- We save what can be saved. Hardwood, plaster, tile and countertops don't always have to come out. If something can't be saved, I explain why and document it.
- We document everything. Photos, moisture maps, daily readings and, when needed, a line-item Xactimate estimate for your insurance company.
- We verify the result. After mold remediation, we take air samples, including an outdoor sample for comparison, and send every sample to an independent lab. Results come back within 24 to 48 hours.

Burst pipes, slab leaks, appliance leaks, roof and window leaks, and flooded crawl spaces. We extract the water, find how far it went, and dry the structure. If you need a plumber or a roofer, I can bring one I work with.
Mold remediation
Containment, HEPA air filtration, removal of what can't be cleaned, cleaning of what can, and a fix for the moisture source.
Fire and smoke damage
Soot, ash and odor cleanup, a licensed HVAC contractor for the ducts, and testing for lead or asbestos when the building's age calls for it.
Sewage cleanup
Contaminated water is removed with protective equipment, porous materials it reached are removed, and everything that stays is cleaned and disinfected before drying.
Reconstruction
We can rebuild after mitigation, or hand off to your own contractor with full documentation.
Recent work in Los Angeles
Burst hot-water line inside a wall
A pinhole leak in a hot-water line saturated walls and flooring. We extracted the water, tested the affected materials, removed what couldn't be restored, and dried the structure. The loss was documented for the owner's insurance claim.
Crawl-space flood under the first floor
A hot-water line ruptured under the house and flooded the crawl space. Live electrical components were near the water, so we made it safe before extraction began. The job included pack-out of contents, removal of damaged materials and structural drying, took about six weeks, and came to about $20,000.
Wildfire damage in Altadena
A house that partly survived the fire was contaminated with lead. We disposed of the porous materials, removed the insulation in the attic and crawl space, had the HVAC system removed by a licensed HVAC contractor, and cleaned the house until it passed lead clearance. The work took about three months.
