We have been doing this work across Los Angeles for 15 years. We handle board-up and securing the property, water extraction and drying, contents pack-out, soot and smoke cleaning, odor treatment, and reconstruction. We answer 24/7.

Common Questions About Fire Damage Restoration in Los Angeles
Most frequent questions and answers
As soon as the fire department says it’s safe. Soot and the water from firefighting cause more damage every day. We answer 24/7.
We treat odor at the source: HEPA vacuuming, cleaning, hydroxyl treatment with our AirBotX 390X, sealing framing before it’s closed up. If the HVAC pulled in smoke, a licensed HVAC contractor we work with cleans or replaces it. Covering the smell is not enough; the source has to come out.
Fire and smoke damage is often part of a homeowner’s claim, but every policy is different and your carrier decides what is covered. We work directly with your insurance company and document the job from the first day.
All of Los Angeles County, including Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Beverly Hills, Glendale, Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley.
Yes. We extract the water and dry the structure with dehumidifiers and air movers, so it doesn’t turn into a mold problem.
Understanding Fire Damage
Every fire leaves three kinds of damage: what burned, what the smoke and soot reached, and what the water from the fire hoses soaked. Each one needs its own work, in the right order.
Soot is acidic and oily. Left on surfaces, it can etch and stain stone, metal, tile and porcelain, and it settles deep into carpet and upholstery. Cleaning it early is often the difference between cleaning an item and replacing it.
A real job: after the January 2025 Palisades Fire, a family home in Pacific Palisades was left standing, but smoke and ash got inside. We removed the ash with HEPA vacuums, cleaned every surface, and cleaned and photographed every item of the contents one by one for the insurance claim. More about this job.

Fire Remediation
After the flames are extinguished, the soot and smoke spreads throughout the property. This can leave a thick, and oily residue that often causes etching and tarnishing to the affected materials. It is important to address this right away so these byproducts do not compromise the structure of the building materials and contents, creating the need for replacement instead of restoration. This obviously will drive up your costs. For soot and char on framing, attic wood, brick and stone, we can also use dry ice blasting, which cleans the surface without water or chemicals.
To remove smoke odor from the air and from surfaces, we use the AirBotX 390X, which combines a hydroxyl generator and a HEPA air scrubber in one unit. Hydroxyl treatment breaks down odor molecules instead of covering them up, and unlike ozone, it can generally run while people are in the home.
